Biggest Curling Stone of the World in Arosa
Arosa built the world's biggest curling stone made of snow and ice for the 100-years anniversary of the Curling Club Arosa. It decoarted the Obersee lake, which was the venue for 80 teams who competed against each other at the Anniversary Tournament in March 2000. The stone had a height of 22 m, a circumference of 24 m and was built with 7,000 m³ of snow. An entry into the Guiness Book of Records has been requested.
