Mountain Railways
Arosa Bergbahnen AG, the local mountain railway company, is responsible for transporting more than 600,000 guests each year. Quite a challenge – especially since expectations regarding comfort and security are rising all the time. Continuous improvements and ongoing investment in the transport infrastructure keep Arosa Bergbahnen moving and ensure that our guests feel really well looked after. This is always one of our top priorities.
Arosa Bergbahnen AG is sole proprietor of all the transport facilities in Arosa. The residents of Arosa own most of the company's shares. The municipality alone has a 17% stake.

In summer you can use the mountain railways free of charge, on production of your complimentary Arosa Card.
