Unemployed – and now?

In case you are unemployed, immediately report to the employment office Arosa. This should happen before your last day of work . Daily allowances will only be taken into account as of the day of notification at the employment office. When reporting to the employment office you need to bring your AHV card (and as a foreigner also your residence permit). In addition the following documents are needed for the evaluation: employment contract, resignation letter, reference letter, medical certificate…. The employment office forwards all documents to the unemployment insurance and the regional employment agency (RAV). The RAV will get in touch directly with the applicant in order to fix a date for an interview.
