The Residents Registration Office represents the central meeting point for all locals. For all new residents the Residents Registration Office is the first point of contact.
Areas
Mutation of resident data (moving to Arosa, moving away from Arosa, address changes, civil status changes, employment changes), various forms for residents, requests for passports and identity cards, residence permit for foreigners, health insurance verification, various other information.
Moving to Arosa
When moving to Arosa, you need to register within 8 days at the Residents Registration Office and bring the following paper work:
- Certification of original residence and health insurance policy (for permanent residents) or
- Certificate of original residence (for weekly residents)
Moving within Arosa
If you move within Arosa you need to inform the Residents Registration Office within 8 days:

- Inform us via e-mail einwohnerkontrolle@gemeindearosa.ch
Moving away from Arosa
If you move to another community, you need to inform the Residents Registration Office latest on the leaving day. By presenting a certificate receipt document, you will get your certificates will be returned.
