It is a strange view when you see goats with saddlebags for the first time, but goats are actually very convenient to discover nature in an exceptional way.
- An exciting afternoon with children – children not only appreciate the goats as pack animal (which allows parents to enjoy a tour without carrying any luggage) but also as adventurous companions.
- Goats with saddlebags enable a hiking tour without carrying any rucksack - which is also much appreciated by elderly people.
- With the trained goats Chaschper, Silver, Maurus, Laurin and Hippie we offer small day trip as well as trekking tours for several days across the Arosa mountains.
- Every tour will be adapted to the individual wishes of our clients.

Special packages for guests in Arosa and Schanfigg
Everything goes much easier with our five funny goats Chaschper, Silver, Maurus, Laurin and Hippie. Hardly any weight to be carried on your bag and yet you do not have to waive a nice picnic. This tour is not about altitude but rather about spending an unforgettable day in Arosa’s stunning nature. The tour starts in Langwies direction to Strassberg in Fondei. The trail leads through a small adventurous canyon, which has to be passed with the goats. As a reward, a picturesque forest glade with a fireplace and a fountain awaits us. Here you can fully indulge yourself – enjoy a hearty picnic, play with the goats or simply let your spirits flow. By the way, goats love to play and are always up for a “hide-and-seek” game!
Feel like continuing? The trail carries on to the Walser colony Strassberg, where you will learn a lot about the traditional lifestyle of Walser people.

Hikes with goats with saddlebags usually take place in the Arosa region - Schanfigg and the Bündner Herrschaft (Maienfeld, Luziensteig).
