Ice Sports

Arosa offers many ice sports activities, from curling and ice stock sport to skating and ice hockey. Top-quality facilities await you, and you can of course obtain the necessary equipment on the spot.

Curling

A German guest once asked if Swiss parents automatically give babies a curling stone as soon as they are born. This traditional winter sport for the deft-handed is indeed very popular in Switzerland. Taster courses for those interested in curling are held weekly at the outdoor ice rink. Ice Stock Sport

Sometimes described as Bavarian Curling, this sport is quick to learn. It is played on the outdoor ice rink. Group instructions can be arranged upon request.

Skating/Ice Hockey

From mid November to mid April you can venture onto the ice at our outdoor rink at Obersee lake or in the ice sports hall. Professional skating instructors are available upon request.
The indoor ice rink can also be hired for friendly matches or training camps. Two sunny natural ice rinks are also available at Hotel Altein and Hotel Hof Maran.
