Nordic Walking and Hiking

Nordic Walking and HikingWhether rambling, hiking or nordic walking, you can discover Arosa by foot on our beautifully prepared hiking trails. They will lead you through the busy winter sports area or into hidden side valleys.
Arosa has over 60 kilometres of prepared rambling and winter hiking trails that lead right through the lively winter sports area, to all the mountain huts and through snow-covered forests. This gives walkers also the possibility to visit our cosy and welcoming mountain restaurants.

In winter, our signposted nordic walking trails invite you to get active. The nordic walking routes are divided into different sections. Various levels of difficulty in terms of distance and steepness offer something for everybody, from easy walks to the most challenging trails.

Swiss Topwalk

In conjunction with the Arosa Bergbahnen AG, Arosa is participating in the Swiss Topwalk programme. The Topwalk route leads from Arosa to the 2653-metre-high Weisshorn Peak, covering an altitude difference of more than 900 metres. Modern technology allows each athlete's time to be individually recorded so that it can later be compared online with the other times already entered. Timekeeping, luggage transport, the hire of nordic walking sticks and the joint-resting journey back down to Arosa are all included in the price.
