Sledging in Arosa

Sit on a classic wooden sled or a sporty bobsleigh and off you go on one of the many sledging runs.

Whether by train or on foot to the top, fun is guaranteed on a roaring ride down into the valley. Arosa has three toboggan runs with a total length of 4.7 km, which are also marked on the Arosa Lenzerheide piste map. The toboggan runs are also ideal for those who like to sledge back to the village at night after an enjoyable dinner on the mountain. In addition, sledging fans will also get their money's worth in the Schanfigg valley on three different sledging runs. The use of the toboggan runs is free of charge. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the user.

Sledging in Arosa

From Prätschli to Obersee, past the Tschuggenhütte, past the Kulm or down to Litzirüti - Arosa is the starting point of various sledging runs.

And if you are in the mood for a night-time tobogganing trip: The Arosa Bus (night express) will take you to Prätschli. From there, every evening during the winter season, you can ride the toboggan run, which is illuminated at night and can therefore be used 24 hours a day, all the way to Obersee.

Silence for wild animals

Above-average amounts of snow lead to extremely demanding living situations for game in the canton of Graubünden. It is now particularly important to avoid any disturbance of wild animals. The population and especially snow sports enthusiasts are asked to be careful:

  • Not to disturb the habitats of wild animals
  • to strictly observe the designated wildlife rest areas
  • To keep dogs on a leash at all times
